How a Free Booking Website Brings Jobs While the Garage Is Closed

6 min read  |  September 2026

Your workshop closes. Riders do not. They search for a bike service after dinner, on a Sunday night, or during a lunch break when nobody at your counter can pick up. If the only way to book is a phone call, that job goes to whoever answered. A simple booking page catches the job and drops it into your GarageMate app for the morning.

What the customer should see

They are not looking for a big website. They want to know three things: is this the right garage, what can I book, and when can I come. GarageMate's free booking website covers that:

  • Your garage name and logo, so it does not look like a generic form
  • The services you actually do, with enough detail to choose
  • A scheduler for a date and time
  • A WhatsApp path so a rider who prefers chat can still reach you

You do not have to buy a domain or run a server for this page. The link is yours to share.

Where to put the link so it gets used

  • The website button on your Google profile
  • WhatsApp status once a week, and the auto-reply when you are in the bay
  • The visiting card and the bill message
  • A short line on the shutter: "Book your slot on WhatsApp or our page"

One link in five places works better than five different numbers.

What you do the next morning

Bookings made on the page come into the GarageMate app. Confirm the slot, assign a mechanic, and open the job card when the bike arrives. If the rider booked an oil service and you can already see their last visit, you can plan the likely parts before they reach the lane.

Confirmation message: "Your general service is booked for Tuesday 10:30 am. Please bring the bike 10 minutes early. Reply here if you also want pickup."

A page does not replace a good handover

Online booking fills the board. Repeat business still depends on the job, the bill, and the reminder after they leave. Use the page to catch riders you would have missed at night, then treat that first visit as carefully as a walk-in. The workshops that do both stop choosing between "more calls" and "more repeat customers". They get a booked slot either way.
